Recognising the lack of platforms where students could share their passion for economics, Adnan, a first year Economics student at the LSE, founded TheEconAnalyst to facilitate economics interest and discussion for young students. His major interests include approaches to giving aid in areas of absolute poverty, solutions to societal income inequality and the application of Game Theory to historical events. Adnan wants to pursue a career in finance, and hopes that TheEconAnalyst can inspire change for others.

Abhinav is an undergraduate student at LSE, and he has developed a strong interest in developmental economics, particularly surrounding issues on how models can reflect different social circumstances. Through TEA, he hopes to empower young minds and share his his knowledge and expertise on the subject. He hopes to translate complex theories and topics into a digestible format for young readers. Abhinav aspires to pursue a career within the financial sector and hopes learn a lot during his time on the team.

Ben, a first year Economics student at the LSE, acknowledges the pertinence of economics in everyday life but found that most people dismiss this.  Through international platforms like TEA, Ben enjoys embedding core economic principles in several different lights, providing a unique perspective on complex topics.  Moreover, Ben enjoys reflecting about current affairs in light of challenging his current beliefs, and is eager to improvise, adapt and overcome. 

Inspired by the varied nature of economics and its centrality to society, Xiaochao, a first year PPE student at Warwick university, hopes to use TEA as a platform to educate others and encourage debate. He is particularly interested in political affairs, and introducing philosophical perspectives into traditionally economic discussions. He hopes to expand his outlook and his knowledge of market trends, and looks forward to working with other passionate individuals.

Tarren is an Economics undergraduate at LSE with a passion in the marriage of finance and technology. Taking Maths, Further Maths, Economics, and History at A-Levels has streamlined his interests and helped him focus on developing various aspects of economics, ranging from regression analysis and various statistical distributions to historical policies and different schools of thought. Tarren hopes that the platform will encourage others and lead them into success.

Anna is a first year Economics student at the LSE. Hailing from Northern Ireland, she co-founded TEA with the intention of connecting aspiring Economists from across the UK and beyond. She is particularly interested in environmental economics and it's applications in both public policy and finance. She hopes to pursue a career in finance, specialising in ESG.
